Question and Answer on Innovative Neurorganizing Methodology Course for Organizing Relationships in the School in Covid Time – April 7, 2021
7 April 2021The passion for reading, and consequently for bookshelves, is wonderful, but those who love to read know how books are bound to increase and fall into the category of objects to be managed. It is also true that we become attached to a given book because it reminds us of a special time in our lives, a special trip, a loved one. But it is also true that some books we never pick up again.
How to organize the library and manage the books? Organizing a bookstore is a real project, and moreover it is a very personal project, the P.O. in fact can assist the person in setting up the organization, but he or she has to figure out what method of classification is best for the person, so that independently, spontaneously and quickly he or she can easily find what he or she is looking for.
First step sit down with pen and paper, decide at the table how we prefer to classify our books. Some people like to do it by publishing house, some by genre: Russian 800, South American Authors, essays, novels.
Second step Look at the spaces in our bookcase, how are the shelves divided? Because we need to think about the size of the books we would be storing. Photography, art or architecture books for example are always larger in size (and also heavier) and they are also the books we might want to consult more often because they have pictures, so they need to be easier to reach and placed lower because of their weight. While reading books generally respecting a standart size.
Third step Do I share the home library with anyone? If so it is to be decided by mutual agreement whether to allocate spaces to each other, in which everyone proceeds as they see fit, in case you decide to share common spaces, then you should agree on the classification that you will do, It can be fun and stimulating to do it together, the only risk is to spend time comparing books read and loved.
Valuable advice Every tot is worth doing a checkup of the books we have, we may find that after some time some books no longer excite us and we are ready to give them a second life, a new space is created for new books waiting to be discovered.
