One project leads to another, like cherries!

Those who have been following us for a long time know our commitment to the world of Education, the dream we have pulled out of the drawer by facing with passion all the challenges that this complex reality presents to us.

But without the unparalleled support of the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation the road would have been more winding and uphill. The foundation has enabled us to design and offer our paths, dedicated to all those who revolve around the world of learning, children and youth, teachers, managers, parents, tutors, a concrete help to develop organizational skills, to face everyday life with greater serenity and healthy productivity.

In 2020, we implemented an online course for teachers. "Innovative Neurorganizing Methodologies for Organizing Relationships in the School in the Age of Covid" which found interest and adhesions from teachers all over Italy, the results obtained stimulated our creativity.

And just like cherries, one project leads to another, and quite naturally a new proposal was born and will soon be available on our website, "DIS-Organization, Networking for Facilitated Learning through Shared Organizational Tools and Languages."

The project proposes strategies in a constructive network context through shared organizational tools and languages in a coherent and co-designed way to support study and school life by developing a more peaceful lifestyle, as the quality of daily living can improve through the proper use of organizational strategies and tools.

The goal is to provide the same training, through an online course, to teachers, parents and other professionals involved, pointing to the most appropriate tools to support children and youth. By using a common organizational language, it is easier to understand each other and to move in a shared and consistent way: the school, family, and support figures thus create a simpler context by facilitating the organization of the people involved, their activities, and their study.

Topics covered in the course:
- organizing communication and developing collaboration, exchange, and contribution among all involved (family, school, and support agencies)
- time management and planning (shared planning methods)
- organizing habits and functional organizational routines
- organizing school materials and objects
- organizing desk and space
- tools and strategies for organized study management

It is a course that proposes tools for everyone but especially suitable and useful for children and young people who experience DSA (Specific Learning Disorders) and BES (Special Educational Needs) and all those who revolve around these realities. Certain of the validity of our proposal, we felt that turning to professionals in the field could prove to be a valuable enrichment by creating a more comprehensive project. We are therefore proud, to co-design this new proposal with a partner with years of experience, the Anastasis cooperative.

Anastasis is the only Italian Software House that deals exclusively with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities, with products and services (training, consulting, etc.) in presence and online for autonomy in study, rehabilitation, school and learning, and with individual paths of empowerment and treatment, training and research in clinical and psycho-educational fields.

In addition to the on-demand course, in collaboration with Anastasis, to be more supportive in developing the organizational skills learned during the course and to answer questions from members, we will implement Facebook live streams and webinars to allow our virtual guests to interact directly, giving voice to constructive debates and exchanges. Direct confrontation facilitates understanding of difficulties encountered in daily life, giving teachers and users new keys to solutions.

So if projects are like cherries, one calls the other, we are sure that from this new proposal, in collaboration with Anastasis, new frontiers to explore, new stimuli and ideas may open up, because Organizing Italy, wishes to be at the side of all those who believe in the value of organization, as a constructive tool to live a quality life.
