Why did you decide to turn to a PO ?
Seeing Francesca's Facebook posts about conferences and various initiatives related to the figure of the PO published, rather than her appearances in videos, I realized that such a professional figure would surely be of great help to me should I find myself having to move house. Then, one day, faced with the "welter" of things, furniture, and objects that my house housed in an exaggerated and confusing way, and the sense of inadequacy and anxiety that this generated in me, I realized that the need for a PO would be necessary for me well before a move. So I called Francesca and worked with her for two very intense days during which she totally helped me conceive of spaces and ideas in another way, deconstructing what were my beliefs and trying to present them to me in a more logical and functional way. At our first meeting, Francesca got me to talk about myself and what kind of life I led, then had me fill out a questionnaire on which I had to answer several questions regarding my life, my home, what kind of life I was doing, how I was living the home, and how satisfied I was. Afterwards, she photographed all the spaces in my home that she felt needed upgrading. We thus decided that it would take a couple of days at least to start making new sense of it all. Are you satisfied ?
I feel very satisfied that I turned to an OP because otherwise I don't think I would have been able to tackle such a job on my own; the attunement was complete. With Francesca we accomplished a job that I had no idea would change my life so much. We threw away dozens of bags of unused and useless stuff that had been lying in drawers and closets for years untouched. We also gave a second life to items and clothes that could be useful to others. We assembled boxes where items were categorized and given them a name. We turned over furniture in the house to give it more rationale and functionality. We redeveloped and made sense of many things. Basically, I made more sense of the organization of my life.
And, from then on, I continued along with my older daughter, who had been asking me for a long time to clean out closets and get unnecessary things out of the way, to rationalize the spaces I had left to do in the house. Would you recommend it ? Why ? To whom ?
Therefore, I would highly recommend anyone who needs to clean up, relocate and reorganize his or her space to turn to such a professional figure because he or she is of very valuable help.
