4 February 2020The kitchen is experienced differently today than it was a few decades ago. It is one of the environments that has socially changed our lifestyle, if we think that it used to be the hearth where people met, around which the family gathered. After that there was an evolution in space, that is, an increase in living space, so the kitchen was hidden and then there was the dining room, and that’s how it was for a long time.
Today, however, homes are smaller and we have much more hectic lives, so the kitchen has again become a meeting place. The approach with organizing the kitchen is not only related to space (i.e., optimizing space) but also lifestyle i.e., perhaps organizing the menu so that we do not have too much stress during the week. First of all, it is important to organize to have less waste, for example by buying food in relation to what we have already planned to cook, which will eventually relieve stress. Above all, the open kitchen should always be free to be used. That is, if we have countertops that are extremely full of food, we will not be able to use the kitchen to its fullest. Inside the drawers, dividers can be used to optimize space.
