It closes a good circle, what will be the next one?

In Professional Organizer parlance we often use this expression, "I have closed a circle," meaning to have completed something, it can be a small action as well as a big project, think of the image of the pen on the paper that illustrates well a closed circle, concluded. The Educational team of Organize Italy this year, after a challenging but at the same time exciting work, concludes the year by closing a beautiful circle, bringing to completion a project that we were passionate about and that allowed many teachers to improve their organizational skills to face their professional and private lives more serenely.

It is valuable for us to remember that Organize Italy is an internationally certified B Corporation, and Benefit Corporation, as such, the purpose of having a positive impact on society and the biosphere is present in its corporate purpose. The project in question was designed with the aim of having a positive and significant impact on the community.

The project

The project "Innovative Neurorganizing Methodologies for Organizing Relationships in School in the Age of Covid" is an online course, a delivery mode that has allowed teachers over the course of a year, to download content free of charge respecting their needs, a tangible support at a time of great difficulty. An idea born in noticing how the strong and unexpected change resulting from the pandemic, has put in crisis not only families, children and youth, but also the teaching staff, forced to transform their teaching method with new working methods.
With our professional experience, we had the certainty that we could be of great help to all those who were suddenly and unexpectedly facing a major transformation, as the organization is a valuable tool that simplifies the lifestyle, both in the personal and work sphere, through methods, strategies and tools. Never more than in a time of great difficulty does it become basic to know how to manage one's resources, of time, space and exhaustible energy.

A valuable collaboration that is renewed over time
Once again, the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation has given us confidence, supported our proposal by investing in the initiative, standing by us in the certainty of being able to create a product that has proven successful in supporting teachers of all levels of education throughout Italy. We recorded about 400 requests to participate, testifying to the interest of teachers in wanting to develop their organizational skills to improve the quality of their work and their lifestyle.

Facebook Directs, stimulating comparisons
We have carried out a series of Facebook Directs with cadenced appointments, which proved to be very interesting as we had the opportunity to meet teachers, parents and figures who rotate in the world of education (those involved in after school or sports activities) resulting in stimulating comparisons that revealed the needs of those who approach our reality. A constructive brain storming based on the content of our course.

What resulted from our proposal
Teachers who chose the course undoubtedly developed new skills and a greater awareness of how organizational skills are of great help in improving the daily rhythm. The next step was to ask our company for targeted and tailor-made courses, both for themselves and for the pupils they follow. The conscientious teacher is the first to want to popularize and pass on topics related to the "organization subject" in their classes , on the strength of his or her direct experience and the benefit that has resulted, an encouraging domino effect.

Enthusiastic about its success, and always supported by the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation, the desire to elaborate a new project arose spontaneously, stimulated in addition by the meeting with an exceptional partner, Anastasis. A cooperative with 30 years of experience in supporting students with DSA and other Special Educational Needs by offering training and services to facilitate their study. Thus was born our new online course, "Dis-Organization - Networking for Facilitated Learning through Shared Organizational Tools and Languages."
