Today's children and young people are the future, I like to start with this statement, which I am sure, can be shared by many.
But How do you accompany the growth of a child or adolescent? How do we pass on to him or her, in addition to affection and support, the tools, strategies and methods to best cope with the life ahead? In a world that changes pace rapidly, where daily challenges can be found to be extremely difficult to deal with, no one has equipped us with the instruction booklet for learning the craft of parenting, a true growth in progress, where we often experience severe difficulties.
WHO (World Health Organization) helps us lay the groundwork to dwell on carefully, having identified Life Skills as the fundamental core of a person's physical and mental well-being. The term Life Skills is generally referred to a range of cognitive, emotional and interpersonal skills that enable healthy growth on both the individual and social levels. That is, skills and abilities that enable us to acquire versatile and positive behavior by which the individual can effectively cope with the demands and challenges of daily life. WHO has identified the core set of skills that underlie a child and adolescent's health and well-being in the following 10 competencies:
-Self-awareness
-Emotion management
-Stress management
-Effective communication
-Effective relationships
-Empathy
-Creative Thinking
-Critical Thinking
-Making decisions
-Resolving problems
Organize Italy, Italy's first personal organizing company, devotes special attention to the world of education, to that versatile reality in which tomorrow's citizens, the men and women who will be able to change and improve the course of things, develop and grow. We are a BCorp and as such, "we have a vision of the future in which we want to induce change through education and sustainability, fostering social welfare. To make a difference."
The Life Skills listed by WHO fully coincide with the organizational skills that through our professional support are cultivated, improved and facilitated to better cope with daily life in family, school and professional settings. Our passion and expertise is dedicated to children and youth, but to make their journey smoother, we stand by those who support and accompany them as they grow today. We also reach out to teachers, tutors, after-school educators and parents. Today's society imposes daily rhythms on us, which are often difficult to sustain, and the overlap of private and work life puts a strain on the course of our days . Parents who do not have well-trained organizational skills can easily experience a high-stress dimension.
Those who choose our customized or online courses are people who are aware of how organization can prove to be an invaluable means of coping with everyday challenges. They have a keen desire to learn or improve their organizational skills, to become acquainted with tools and strategies that will simplify daily life, enable them to carve out valuable time for themselves and their families, facilitating interpersonal relationships, and above all to be able to be an example and support for their children. Accompanying children from an early age to learn "Organizational Language" facilitates the path of growth and educational evolution on multiple levels. Whatever the age, the child/youth will be able to better manage their responsibilities at school and beyond, developing their autonomy and facing adolescence with more awareness.
Organizing Italy with a team of professionals dedicated to the world of education is at the side of parents, to support them in their search for a new way of life, one that gives well-deserved serenity to the entire family unit.
"Every man ultimately decides for himself.
And, ultimately, education
must be education in how to decide."
