21 March 2019The desk is where you work, where you are productive. Not only in the office: even at home, I'm always talking about the home with a small business, we generally have space where we can devote ourselves to what the management of the home itself. Even those who work from home have their own desk. Then if you are a mom I would have your children's desks that need to be taught from an early age how to manage it.
The desk has to be free, it has to be a place where when we sit down to do our things we have a kind of serenity, that is, we can work not looking for things by not finding them, but we can be free-minded because we are in a functional space where we find everything we need.
Another important thing, after you have emptied it, is to evaluate all the items you found inside the drawers and above the surface. Keep the items you use. Remember the saying: less is more. That is, the less we have the more we value what we keep. Once you have sorted your items, give them a placement relative to your use of them. The things you use the most closer together and the things you use the least away from the desk itself. Since you have sorted these items, you will also be able to make a list of the things you need most. Post-its and pens, erasers, that if you have to buy them back just look at our list.
An important aspect to consider for the desk is also lighting.
How can we work if we have unsuitable lighting?
