7 March 2019Carnival is coming, so what better time to involve children and teens, whether your children grandchildren or your friends' children, in a time of creativity: creating their own carnival costumes.
Creativity is extremely important for young children but also for us adults.
Let's take the opportunity of a holiday like carnival to make projects together with them. First of all we will create a habit, that is, every year it will be known that Carnival is a time that will be dedicated to creativity. Waiting for this time of the year then will become a pleasant thing, like waiting for Christmas.
Other things that can be taught through the making of this costume is: how to make a project. A project that needs planning: what should we buy? Where should we purchase it? What are the time frames?
In this case I recommend that you create a real timetable, that is, a calendar, with the various stages of making the costume, in which you will decide together with the children what to make , on what days, and how much time you have before you reach the fateful date when they will discover the costume made with so much creativity.
Let us take this carnival opportunity to teach the value of creativity, the value of dates to look forward to, the value of planning when a project is to be carried out.
