How to choose priorities?

Organization and change
29 October 2019With today's pace of life, we often lose sight of how important it is to intersperse work with breaks, which are crucial for recharging ourselves, then allowing our brains to regenerate and be more productive and creative. Those who study neuroscience have long devoted ample space to the value of breaks!
The break can be short, 5/10 minutes if you are working but it can also be longer, a day to unplug for a short vacation. Only if we understand how important it is to recharge our batteries will we be able to make good choices in this regard. Only by refreshing our minds and shifting our attention elsewhere will we be able to gain the clarity needed to choose everything more thoughtfully.
It is important to understand that the break cannot be linked to the use of electronic devices, because for our brains it is an identical activity in front of any screen. If we say we're taking a break, we're taking a break primarily from the kind of engagement we subject our minds to... so...
At work:
- When you are working activate your timer, every 45 to 50 minutes (depending on your personal resources) a 10-minute break will be restorative, you will return to your task with new energy that will allow you to be more lucid and attentive.
To regenerate your creativity:
- Allow your mind to wander, for which there is nothing better than a walk in nature or listening to music.
