How to pack?
24 June 2019Vacation planning is an opportunity to be with family.
Vacation planning is an opportunity to pass on organizational skills to your children and look at travel as a life experience, to be travelers and not tourists. When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
Planning vacations should be not only a pleasure but a sharing with all family members to learn something.
Here are some suggestions to share with them:
- Before leaving for vacation show them where you are going, it will be an opportunity to learn the geography, customs and traditions of the places we are going to visit, like a game.
- If you are lucky enough to vacation in a different culture... the saying, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do" applies The excitement of discovery and open-mindedness. The diversity of foods they will try on vacation, a chance to experience new and unfamiliar flavors.
Or the value of languages, the importance of learning a foreign language that allows them to be precisely, less of a tourist but more of a traveler.
What books can we read before we visit that place? How can we absorb the culture of the country that will host us?
- Diversity, whatever it may be, is an enhancement, an enrichment.
- Once they return home: sorting photos and preparing the album is also an opportunity to convey to them the pleasure of stopping special memories forever.
